KIBWORTH JOINT BURIAL COMMITTEE CONSTITUTION AS APPROVED BY THE PARISH COUNCIL ON 27th JANUARY 2009

1. MEMBERSHIP

Seven in total, four representatives from Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council and three from Kibworth Harcourt Parish Council.
Three members to constitute a quorum (one representative from both Parish Councils).
Members to be appointed annually by the respective Councils. Chairman and Vice-Chairman to be elected annually at the annual meeting, to be held between 1st March and 1st June.

2. FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS

The Committee will put forward proposals for running costs, maintenance and improvements to the Cemetery and any other capital expenditure for the agreement of the Parish Councils when requesting funding for the following financial year.

3. CLERK

Remuneration to be based on NJC salary point scale as agreed by the Kibworth Joint Burial Committee.

4. INSURANCE

Insurance cover is to be effected through the existing policies until renewal date, when a policy with Allianz Cornhill, or such other Company as may be approved by the Kibworth Joint Burial Committee, from time to time.
