    The Parish Council maintain three bus shelters in the village; at the traffic island, on the A6 and on Church Road.

    Two car parks are provided and maintained by Harborough District Council. They are situated at School Road and Paget Street.  Please note that the car park at Paget Street has limited spaces.

  • Cemeteries

    The cemetery is situated along the A6 in Kibworth Harcourt. It is managed by a Joint Committee of Councillors from Kibworth Beauchamp Parish Council and Kibworth Harcourt Parish Council. The Committee is independently audited and has a Clerk, Miss R Lane. The Clerk can be contacted on 0116 279 2727 or by email kibworthcemetery@talktalk.net

    The Council own the Grammar School Hall situated in School Road. This is leased to a charity organisation known as Kibworth Grammar School Hall (1044822). Maintenance and the running of the Hall is dealt with by the Committee of Trustees.

    There are three recreation grounds within the village, these are Smeeton Road Recreation Ground, Warwick Road Recreation Ground and Rookery Close Recreation Ground

    Planning applications from Harborough District Council are sent to the Parish Council for their consideration and comments. A Planning Committee is in place to look at planning applications on behalf of the Parish Council.

    The Parish Council provide and maintain eight seats within the village: Rosebury Avenue; on the corner of School Road/School Walk; Fleckney Road near the Cricket Ground; Church Road; Smeeton Road near the Health Centre; outside the Co-op on High Street; Weir Road and New Road (this seat was donated).Six oak barrels have been placed along the High Street, which are owned and maintained by the Parish Council.

    Street lighting is maintained by Leicestershire County Council (hotline 0800 62 62 03). The Parish Council own and maintain the lighting column on the traffic island; on the footpath to Smeeton Road Recreation Ground and the lamp at Station Hollow.
