VILLAGE IMPROVEMENT WORKING PARTY Aim of the Working Party: To improve the lives of people, living and working in the village of Kibworth Beauchamp in ways identified through the work of KBPC and its links with the local community, including the 2004 Parish Plan. Role of the Working Party 1. To find solutions to identified community needs 2. To work, subject to the approval by or on the instruction of KBPC with other groups on projects deemed to be of value to the village 3. To make recommendations to KBPC on action to be taken to develop projects 4. To identify sources of external funding for projects and to identify the level of any matched funding required from the KBPC budget 5. To make applications for funding for projects in agreement with the full council and to be responsible in conjunction with the Parish Clerk for any monitoring required by funders 6. To monitor and evaluate projects initiated by the Working Party and make reports to the full council 7. To work with other agencies and organisations on the development of projects and where appropriate invite them to participate in those projects. 8. To involve and inform the local community of the activities of the Working Party bringing in expertise and experience from the wider community wherever possible 9. Other individuals may be invited to assist the group to work on a particular project or to provide expertise and information Membership Conduct of Meetings |
